Sex offender registry

In June of 2005 the 122nd Maine State Legislature enacted a law prohibiting local police agencies from listing names or providing photos of REGISTERED SEX OFFENDERS on their websites. The law takes effect on September 17, 2005. Below is a link to the Maine State SEX OFFENDER REGISTRY which contains photos and information on all persons who are required to register. You can request information by town or by the person's name. If you have any questions please feel free to contact the Criminal Investigation Division of the Saco Police Department at 282-8216.
