THINK BLUE
Think Blue is the campaign to halt water pollution caused by stormwater which sweeps pollution on the ground into rivers, streams, lakes and the ocean. For more on this issue, go to the Think Blue site.

Stackpole Creek Bridge remains closed
CLD Consultant Engineers recommends keeping bridge closed until significant repairs can be made.

Public Works Department Open House
Join us at an open house on Saturday, June 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. 351 North Street, (just before the Turnpike overpass) for tours, electronics recycling, free shredding and food.

Simpson Road Bridge closed Monday, May 6
The Simpson Road Bridge will be closed Monday, May 6 at 8 a.m. for an indefinite period of time on the recommendation of the city's consultant.

Document shredding electronics recycling and a tour of the Public Works Department are all being scheduled.

A second recycling option
The city and Ecomaine are making it easier to recycle by adding a drop-off area behind the train station.

Compost sale
Compost will go on sale beginning May 2 for $3/yard at the Foss Road transfer station Thursday through Saturday only, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Purchases may be made at the transfer station.

Computers, their periperal accessories and other electronic items can be brought to Goodwill, Staples and Best Buy for free disposal.
