Paving Projects, 2010

Updated on September 24, 2010

As part of the Paving Bond that was passed last fall the City will begin its paving season. The excellent spring weather has allowed us to begin the paving schedule early. Listed below is the preliminary schedule through the summer. We will be adjusting the schedule periodically.

Elm Street: Complete The city is installing about 120 feet of new sewer to eliminate the combined sewer over flow that would discharge storm and sanitary waste to the river in extreme wet weather conditions. The trench will be paved with base pavement and then allowed to settle prior to grinding the patch curb to curb after Labor Day. This will minimize the patch to two butt joints at the beginning and end of the project.
