AmeriCorps NCCC Volunteers Help Saco
Below are links to pages we have set up for each team that include background on the team members, as well as photos of them at work.

Team 3, May - June, 2002

Team 2, Sept. 12 - Oct. 12, 2001)

Team 1, (July 17 - Sept. 4, 2001)

Spring, 2002

We are hosting our third AmeriCorps team this spring. They are working on a variety of projects, including trail building and surveying the city for future GIS projects. You can learn more about the individual team members and what they're doing by following this link.

Summer, Fall, 2001

We are fortunate to have obtained the services of two AmeriCorps NCCC teams for July, August, September and October. They will be working on a variety of projects in the city, including building trails, painting and participating in the Goosefare Brook Environmental Assessment. During their stay here, they'll be camped out at the Bayview Fire Station.

Our thanks to Unicel of Saco, which has donated the use of a cellular telephone for use by the volunteers while they are here and to Deering Lumber of Biddeford, which is donating lumber for their trail construction project.
