Animal Control Car Among Items in City Surplus Sale

The City is holding a surplus property sale. Items can be viewed on Tuesday, May 9 and Wednesday, May 10, 2006 between the hours of 7:00 am and 4:00 pm at the Public Works Garage, 351 North Street.

Sealed bids will be accepted on May 9 and May 10 and until 2:00 pm on Wednesday May 17, 2006, at which time there will be a public opening of all bids in the City Hall Conference Room.

The sale includes radios and radio equipment, chairs and desks, a stove, a dryer, and seven vehicles, including:

• 2003 Ford (Car) - VIN 2FAFP71W53X151820 mileage is 91,061, good cond. Runs fine. (A/C doesn't work)
• 1983 MACK Dump Truck Including Plow & Wing, VIN #1M2B120CYHA060395 (Est. value $28,000)
• 1992 GMC King Cab Truck, Stakeside 1 ton, VIN#GTHC33KXNJ712669 (Est. Value $4500)
• 1999 Crown Vic Car VIN# 2FAFP71W7XX202515 (Est. Value $3500)
