City of Saco Fiscal Year 2008 Proposed Budget The fiscal year 2008 proposed combined budget of the school department and the city follows. There will be a public hearing on the proposed budget on April 30, 2007 at 7:00 pm in the City Council Chambers. All citizens are welcome to attend and voice their opinions about the proposed budget. Assuming a 2% increase in property values, the proposed budget would call for a 74 cent increase in he city's mil rate from $12.73 per thousand dollars of valuation to $13.47 per thousand dollars of valuation.
