Free energy surveys available from the Code Enforcement Office

The City of Saco Code Enforcement Office is pleased to offer Free Energy Surveys to Saco home owners. We can help you save energy, save money and be more comfortable this winter. An energy survey is an inspection of all levels of the home including crawl spaces, basements and attics. We will help you identify air leaks and poorly insulated areas of the home.

As much as 60% of heat loss in the typical Maine home is from cold air leaking into the house. After we identify the leaks and problem areas, we will look at the different materials and methods available to stop the leaks. We will discuss ways to save electricity and lower your monthly bills. This is a free service, don't delay, call today!

If you would like to have your home surveyed to lower your energy bills call us at @284-6983 or email Mark Mitchell at mmitchell@sacomaine.org
