What's new on the website?
Below you'll find a list of recent additions to the City of Saco website, as well as some timely favorites:
  • Comprehensive Plan approved
    The city council has approved a new comprehensive plan that will help to guide the city's growth for the next decade. To download a copy of the plan, follow the link above.

  • Budget time
    The city council is in the process of setting the budget for the coming fiscal year, 2012. For more information, see the budget page.

  • New Central Fire Station dedication, April 30
    The flag flying over the current Central Fire Station will come down on April 30 and be moved to the new station on North Street. For a schedule of events, follow this link

  • Bicycle safety
    With the warming weather comes increased bicycling and bicyclists. The Bicycle Coalition of Maine has put together some excellent videos with tips to help both automobile drivers and bicyclists coexist peacefully. See our Community Links page.

  • FAQ of the month: Services: Does the City sell compost?

    Answer:Yes the City starts selling compost around the first of May every year. The cost is $3.00 per cubic yard. Each resident is allotted 3 cubic yards. To purchase the compost you need to go to the Finance Office at City Hall.

  • Pay bills ONLINE, not INLINE
    No one likes waiting in line, especially not to pay a bill. Don't forget, you can pay your city real estate and personal property tax bills online, as well as some utility bills. Just follow the link above.
