There are several ways to take care of your business with the City of Saco -- via the mail, in person and online. As citizens report they are more and more comfortable with doing business online, we would like to invite you to explore the services you can complete at Saco's website

Renewing a vehicle registration online is by far the most popular website service. In fact, use of this service has increased by over 300% since it was introduced! So, why take time off work or out of your busy day to stand in line at City Hall when you can complete a re-registration from the comfort of your home or office at a time that works best for you? You will need your current or expiring registration (the "yellow" form you keep in your vehicle), the current proof of insurance for that vehicle, and a credit card for payment. Just click on "Register your car" under "Services" on Saco's home page -- this will link you up to the State of Maine's Rapid Renewal secure website, and you are practically done!

Other services you can conduct online include: the re-registration of your boat, ATV or snowmobile; renewal of an annual hunting or fishing license; and renewal of a dog license. You can even connect from Saco's website to the State of Maine website to pay state issued traffic tickets! Again, you can link to these services via the Saco home page to see the specific requirements for each type of transaction.

Also at the Saco website, you will see the variety of other types of city business you can do online -- these include getting various forms you might need, such as for a business registration so you can apply to do business here in Saco. You also can pay city tax or sewer user bills online using a credit card, or, better yet, pay using an "e-check" with a flat fee for processing (both payment types are provided by an outside service, and their service fees are not collected by the city) regardless of the bill amount.
