Meet the City of Saco's new finance director

Please join Mayor Ron Michaud, the City Council, City Administrator Richard Michaud and all the city staff in welcoming Cheryl Fournier as the new Finance Director for the City of Saco.

Cheryl joins the city after a long career in Accounting in both the healthcare and, more recently, the banking sector. Her broad experience includes hands-on accounting work starting after college and working her way up to top level management appointments. Cheryl brings an understanding of accounting and bond preparation to the job, and she is eager to learn more about other aspects of the municipal accounting world. She is a native Mainer with three children. Her hobbies include photography, philanthropy and motorcycle touring!

About her new job, Cheryl was eager to share her excitement: "I'm looking forward to working at the City of Saco to continue creating a great place to work and live."

We look forward to having Cheryl join the city and help continue our commitment to "enhance our community through exceptional customer service."
